This ever-bearing strawberry has larger berries than the red alpine strawberries. It can be grown from seed. Delicious sweet spicy. This perennial berry does not have runners. It is sweet and larger than the red alpine strawberry’s and can be grown from seed or divisions. It is very productive but does not like dry or hot weather. It will still thrive in light shade with good watering and continually produce berries. It takes about a year to reach bearing size, so If you are in a hurry, you can order plants and get about a 6 months jump on the time till they bear fruit. They make wonderful hanging baskets.
