This Asian pole bean is easy to grow. It is tasty raw or steamed as well as resistant to bugs. It also produces for a long time. Asian pole bean that has a taste similar to fresh asparagus. It grows up to 2 foot long. It is tender and good to eat raw or steamed. This has become one of my favorites because it seems to be resistant to bean beetles. It is also long bearing, providing an long season for farmers market CSA or home table use. Asparagus beans are easy to grow , though you will need to provide a trellis to support the vines.
