Beautiful perennial medicinal flower with long lasting blooms – great landscape flower/herb for immune system. This is my favorite flower in the garden. It blooms mid-summer and is gorgeous in the landscape . The blooming period is over a month . We make our herbal tinctures with the roots of 5 year old plants and use it whenever we are wanting to help boost our immune system. We also make a tea with the leaves and flowers for the same purpose though they are not as strong. This is truly a dual purpose plant . It makes beautiful bouquets too .
