These rooted cuttings are from a bush my mother gave us 40 years ago. We plant the figs near a wall and protect the roots in the winter with bags of leaves. They will begin to produce figs in 2-3 years the fruit is small (about the size of an English walnut) sweet and plentiful. I dry them, make jams and sauces as well as homemade fig newtons with them. Figs are very helpful in keeping your colon is good condition being high in fiber and nutrition.
